Gauteng C on fire in Polokwane

Gauteng C launched their bid for the Challenge Trophy in this year's 72 Hole Teams Championship with an opening 153 and the team held a two shot overnight advantage going into the second and third rounds at Polokwane Golf Club on Tuesday.
Kaiyuree Moodley and Kelsey Nicholas ensured that the Gauteng C will start the final round with a colossal 15-shot lead over Ekurhuleni B.
Moodley, the reigning Nomads SA Girls Rose Bowl champion, bounced back after an expensive 84 in the first round to register rounds of 74 and 70 and Nicholas shot 73 in the second round and 78 in round three to keep Gauteng C in ascendancy.
